Unifor is holding two telephone town Halls this coming Sunday, and the following Tuesday, to answer any questions Team Members might have about what Toyota’s decision to move production of the Corolla to Mexico means to them.

These meetings are being held by phone to enable more people to participate, since you can call in from anywhere to take part. With one town hall in the afternoon and one in the evening, Unifor hopes to give as many people as possible a chance to call in.

Here are the details:

Telephone Town Halls

  • Sunday, May 3, 4:30 to 5:30pm
  • Tuesday, May 5, 7:30 to 8:30pm

  • Unifor National President Jerry Dias
  • Unifor Chief Economist Jim Stanford (Sunday)
  • Unifor Research Director Bill Murnighan (Tuesday)
  • Unifor Lawyer Anthony Dale

How to participate:

We will phone as many of you as we can at the start of the town halls, to make it easier for you to join the conversation. If you don’t get the call, or miss the call, simply phone 877-229-8493 and use the passcode 112250 to participate. You’ll receive instructions during the town hall on how to ask questions.
